Feng Shui for your bedroom energy

When I recorded our Feng Shui episode with expert Jess Bunni from A New Day Enlightenment, I learned so much! Of course, there are entire maps with elements, cardinal points, flow directions, and much more. You CAN do all of it and really get into it, fine-tune it, and upgrade it again. Or, you just start slow and easy, like me, with some simple rules.
Some things Jess talked about were super simple to implement, especially for the bedroom. What do you WANT to feel in your bedroom? Of course, serenity, calm, and romance…even if you’re single.
So the first thing I did was declutter and remove all things that caused chaos and shouldn’t be housed in the bedroom. That instantly created clear surfaces and therefore a calm feeling.
Next was symmetry! Which makes total sense for togetherness and energy of the pair! So I added the same bedside table that my husband has, even tho I don’t need one. It did give the room a different energy instantly!
Something that might seem simple but is super important was deep cleaning! I made sure that all is dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and cleansed, even the air with opening windows, diffusers, some saging/smudging, and new air filters.
I bought anti-blue light 💡 bulbs for the bedside lamps to soften the lighting.
There was one big NO NO that Jess mentioned, and that was no mirrors facing the bed. So I removed a big mirror we had facing the bed and moved it into the closet.
The final step was my FAVORITE one, but it took some time to order these… Jess talked about colors for the bedroom, and soft pink 💗was one she mentioned. I owned ZERO pink sheets, blankets, or full-size pillow covers. So I started looking. I quickly found the perfect set in a gorgeous powder pink (the company I bought it from calls it “dusty mauve”) made from linen. I read a lot about the high vibration of linen and how it’s a healing fabric. So it really is the perfect bedroom set! We also love the feel! The linen is soft but stays cool and isn’t slick like satin. The final color touch was a set of 3 powder pink LED candles I found. Boom, perfect set! These soft colors work really well to support that calm energy, and they also speak to the heart chakra.

These easy steps helped tremendously to change and stabilize the energy in the bedroom. Positive energy can now flow and bring peace, calm & romance. What do you think?
